Not the pattern, but the location and gates. I know it looks lovely, and it prevents you from bumping it into more than one gear at a time. But I love it.

Yeah it's awesome! I wish more cars had gated shifters. Why do they cover that shit up with a boot so you can't see what gear you're in?

When you're used to a car you can see what gear it is in even if there's a boot. You don't really have to though, as you tend to notice it from the combination of revs and speed.
